Our Philosophy
At Island Biltong, we believe that food is not just about nourishing the body, but also the soul. That's why we put so much care and attention into every product we create, using only the freshest and most wholesome ingredients.
Why we started
Biltong is very much a part of any South Africans diet, moving to Tasmania we found a gap that needed urgent filling, we figured that if we had this urge to get our hands on good biltong many others must have had this urge too, so we decided to step up and be that source. We started by importing products from interstate and then repackaged the product for wholesalers and online sales. Fast forward 2 years, and now we produce our own product and believe it is Tasmania's finest biltong.
High protein / Low sugar & Carb diets are becoming more popular as people realize the importance of a healthy diet, our products doesn't contain any sugar, preservatives or flavor enhancers which makes it the perfect healthy snack.
